Caribbean Artificial Intelligence Policy Roadmap

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents both opportunities and challenges for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean. To address this, the UNESCO Caribbean AI Policy Roadmap offers a framework for policy development and regional collaboration, built on four pillars: Culture & Creativity; Governance & Transformation; Education & Upskilling; and Resiliency & Sustainability.

By embracing these pillars, Caribbean SIDS can navigate AI’s challenges and opportunities, protecting their citizens, promoting economic growth, and preserving their unique cultural identity.
