2021 Annual Results Report UN Sub-Regional Team for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean

The 2021 Annual Results Report outlines the key results, challenges and progress achieved by the UN Sub-regional Team in 2021. It exemplifies the value of delivering As ONE in a tumultuous year, which was also the final year of the UN Multi-Country Sustainable Development Framework (MSDCF).

Against the backdrop of the decade of action to realize 2030 Agenda, the UN Development System worked alongside regional Governments and regional and international stakeholders, to save lives , and help the most vulnerable to recover better amidst myriad challenges, including the COVD-19 pandemic. The aim was to raise ambition towards SDG acceleration, and to reclaim progress of a lost decade. The UN Reform has enhanced the way we do business, enabled greater coherence, and expanded UN presence in the region.
