UNCT Annual Results Report Trinidad and Tobago 2022
Coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic with a focus on reinforcing progress on the SDGs, especially in areas hit hardest by pandemic setbacks, the UN Country Team (UNCT) scaled up and accelerated delivery in key priority areas.
As a result of scaling up delivery and integrating more UN agencies into the Country Implementation Plan, 2022 saw a higher UN investment in Trinidad and Tobago than previous years.
This was particularly significant because 2022 was the first in a five year cycle for the new cooperation agreement with the Caribbean - the Multi-Country Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (MSDCF).That plan is being rolled out to support achievement of the National Development Strategy- Vision 2030.
The UN in T&T is committed to deepening partnerships with the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago through its robust programme of delivery and pursuit of SDG progress that Leaves No One Behind.
