United Nations Suriname Annual Results Report 2024

The United Nations Annual Results Report 2024 on the work of the United Nations system in Suriname showcases the collective contributions of 16 United Nations (UN) agencies, funds, and programmes working to advance the sustainable development priorities of the Caribbean country of Suriname.
In the report, Joanna Kazana, UN Resident Coordinator in Suriname, states, “Our initiatives in 2024 aimed to empower society, enhance governance, and ensure equitable growth.”
With its abundant natural resources and emerging economic potential, Suriname holds significant promise. Realising a modern and prosperous future will depend on coordinated action by the Government, private sector, and civil society, supported by strong partnerships and proven technical solutions.
